The longest journey a person can undertake is the
journey to oneself.
For human potential is a matter of the space and time we are given.
Freed from the everyday influences of a world often marked by hustle,
consumerism, temptation, obligations, and limits.
Where there is no space, where there is no time, nothing will arise.
We have conceived a place full of tranquility and strength.
A stage for personal discovery.
A space for new things. This is a serious endeavor with the spirit of a childlike idea.
A place born from a vision of natural beauty.
So incredibly complex and yet so clear.
Here in the forest, the primal landscape of Europe.
Can you feel it?
A never-ending story.
The idea of WALDDENKE is as simple as it is grand: A house that offers each guest precisely the stage they seek. A place that invites you to linger, to relax, and to create. A concept that doesn't ask for either-or but finds ways to fulfill all demands.
The people behind it.
The good soul: As the hostess, Martina Schuster takes care of WALDDENKE and its guests with heart and kindness. This well-protected place of longing, surrounded by the Rax, was conceived and built by Thomas Plötzeneder.
I arrive searching
and find answers.
Sometimes even more.
